There’s still a couple of inches of snow on the ground. But that doesn’t mean golfers won’t want to warm up before the golf courses turn from white to green this spring. Tomorrow evening the Keweenaw Chamber of commerce will host its January after-hours networking event with the Portage Lake Golf Course. Recently the golf course installed a brand new indoor golf simulator, to help golfers test out new equipment from the pro shop.
Business after-hours with the Keweenaw Chamber of commerce highlight new or exciting projects or businesses in the Copper Country while organizing a place for business leaders in the community to network. The events offer light refreshments to attendees, and they re free to join the fun. Networking opportunities allow individuals to catch up with other businesses, and connect on potential collaborations or endeavors.
The Business After Hours with the Keweenaw chamber of Commerce at the Portage Lake Golf Course will begin at 4 pm on Wednesday. Organizers do ask those planning to try out the indoor golf simulator to please register online. Learn more about business after hours with the Keweenaw Chamber of Commerce here.
