Three individuals were arraigned in Baraga County 97th district court for an assault in Three Lakes yesterday (on Tuesday). On Sunday at 12:30 am MSP Calumet post troopers responded to an incident in three lakes, at the Bear Paw Inn, where three subjects assaulted two individuals. A firearm was allegedly discharged several times during the incident. No firearm injuries were reported to law enforcement. Troopers of the Calumet and Negaunee posts located 18-year-old Austin Conn of Ishpeming, 24-year-old Jeremy Vetter of Michigamme, and 21-year-old Alexis Hernandez also from Michigamme shortly after responding to the scene. Each has been charged in Baraga County for assault with a dangerous weapon. Vetter earned an additional resisting/obstructing an officer charge. Conn’s bond was set at 1,000 dollars, vetter has his bond set at 5,000 dollars, and Hernandez has a 10,000-dollar recognizance bond. All will appear in Baraga Count Court on December 3rd.
