The Keweenaw Community Foundation will soon open access to spring grants impacting the Copper Country. Last week the Keweenaw Community Foundation announced the spring 2025 round of grant funds will include five grant programs.
After February 1 the Keweenaw Community Foundation will accept applications for the CLK Youth Hockey Fund, David Wiitannen and Slim McLean Memorial Youth Hockey Fund, the Great Start Early Childhood Fund, the Joe Freed Empowerment Fund, and the Kellogg Youth Empowerment Fund. The CLK Youth Hockey Fund and the David Wiitanen and Slim McLean Youth Hockey Funds support athletics and kids staying active.
The Great Start Childhood Fund will address early development and support local childcare programming.
